Snake River/Hells Canyon Cast & Blast Trips – 4 & 5 Day Options
Can’t decide what to do? Hunt, or Fish? Fish, or Hunt? We have a solution!! Come to Idaho and the remote section of the Snake River in Hells Canyon for a Cast and Blast adventure more than worthy of a few good tales.
North Star Cast and Blast Trips are all inclusive, first-class, 4 & 5 day guided trips featuring bass fishing, trout fishing, and steelhead fishing perfectly combined with chukar hunting, in a remote canyon setting. Stay out in the wilds each night, close to the fish and the birds, in a hunt camp set up by our crew. The trip starts on the Snake River at Hells Canyon Dam with 5 miles of spectacular fast water fishing from the boats while spotting chukar coveys from the water. Each day we move down river canvassing new country, our gear boat crew moving our camp to a new spot each night. We stop and deep water fish for sturgeon along the way at our favorite holes. Farther down river we take spells between fishing to drop hunters river side to walk long sections of flat benches above the river. The habitat is perfect for chukar, cover provided by boulders along the river, knee high grass on the benches and a few Hackberry and Ponderosa Pine trees. Our guides can provide dogs or you are welcome to bring yours as well. Some years we are able to fish the fall Chinook salmon runs.
All fishing, camping, and boating equipment for these trips are provided along with our outstanding guide crew: owner Jacob Warren and his crew of seasoned Idaho hunters and fishermen. Jacob is an Idaho native and has been hunting and fishing this area for 20+ years. We can cater this trip to your specific passion. We pride ourselves on serving fabulous food focusing on fresh ingredients, Dutch oven baking, and charcoal grilled Idaho salmon or elk steak served at your riverside dining table.
